Refund Policy  
 
In general, UnisonCare Corporation/UniCharts EMR has a NO REFUND sales policy. All sales of licenses are FINAL.

For any potential user who wants to buy a product key, we strongly recommend downloading and installing EMR system in evaluation mode before buying a license key from us. Evaluation mode is full-featured and fully-functional with just a programmatically imposed limitation of creating more than 20 charts and 1000 appointments. It is assumed that when the user purchases a product license key from us, he/she is satisfied with the program's features, functionalities and usefulness and would make no requests for refund/return on such basis. During the evaluation, our support staff is available to assist in installation and configuration via email.

YOU AGREE THAT IF YOU DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND/OR INSTALL THE EMR SOFTWARE FOR EVALUATION THAT IS OFFERED AND AVAILABLE TO YOU AT NO COST, YOU VOLUTARILY DISCHARGE UNISONCARE CORPORATION/UNICHARTS EMR FROM THE OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE SUCH AN EVALUATION FACILITY, AND DISCHARGE UNISONCARE CORPORATION/UNICHARTS EMR FROM ALL OBLIGATIONS REGARDING THE FUNCTIONALITY, SUITABILITY OR APPROPRIATENESS OF THE EMR SOFTWARE.

If you have not tested our full-featured EMR software in evaluation mode, please do so before you place an order for an unrestricted license key to make sure that the product you are purchasing is what you want. If you purchase any of our products, an email will be sent to you with a license key and instructions to unlock the software permanently. Once this information is emailed to you, there will be no refunds given. Please understand that software, which is considered ‘intellectual property’, has the unique ability to be copied unlike a physical product. We have this policy since with a traditional retail purchase one is able to return a physical product whereas it is impossible for anyone to return software in the same way as a physical product.

UnisonCare Corporation/UniCharts EMR will consider a refund when the software contain bugs that prevent the customer from using it normally, as long as these bugs are not due to bugs in other programs, operating system or hardware incompatibilities, or the user supplied data. In addition, we must be able to reproduce the bug. We may require documentation of the steps taken by the user that caused the error in the software as well as necessary data and scenario files to reproduce the error. In such instances, an LOD (Letter Of Destruction) on company letterhead will be required to process the refund. Please note that an occasional runtime error of the software in general is not considered to prevent the user from using the software in a normal way.
